Recycle This Bottled Water

Recycle This Bottled Water

Here is a great video we came across that shows recycling as part of our generation’s mission. Although plastic water bottles make up only 1/3 of 1% of all landfill waste, we think that is even too much. In the video, a well informed teenage eco-ambassador has one goal: to increase the number of recycling bins across America and make them easier to find. We really appreciate her message because we are at the forefront of this new, easy recycling process—you buy re-source™ at our partner Whole Foods Market, and then deposit the bottles back into our GreenOps Tracking Stations located right at the store. And while you can recycle any PET beverage bottles in our machines, we hope you will choose bottles made out of recycled content, like our re-source™ bottles which are made with 25% recycled PET plastic. We think it’s a step in the right direction, but we know there’s more work to be done. Let’s do all we can to put recycling bins in every town by clicking below to watch the clip and register your zip code at Bottled Water Matters.

It should be a federal law, if a store charges five cents per bottle, then they should "have" to refund the bottle money!
